I will advocate for an easier-to-navigate IEP process, stronger early intervention programs, expanded Pre-K opportunities, and better communication between families and schools. Parents should feel informed, heard, and empowered to advocate for their children.

Supporting educators means more than words. I will advocate for competitive compensation, improved working conditions, recognition of long-term service, and a stronger employee voice in district decisions. This includes working toward smaller class sizes, improving staff feedback opportunities, and ensuring educators have the resources and support they need to succeed.

Graduation isn't the finish line. I will work to expand career exploration, strengthen college and technical education pathways, and introduce practical life skills that prepare students for adulthood. Whether their future involves college, military service, skilled employment, or greater independence, every student deserves a meaningful pathway to success.

Public trust requires open communication, responsible spending, and meaningful accountability. I will push for timely public records responses, clearer district decisions, consistent student discipline, and stronger safeguards for individuals working with children, including through community partnerships. Families, staff, and taxpayers deserve transparency, safe schools, and leadership that takes responsibility for results.

Some changes require action beyond the school board. I will advocate for greater local control of school calendars, funding that follows students when they transfer from charter schools, property tax incentives recognizing long-serving public employees, and stronger "Don't Pass the Trash" legislation to prevent individuals with serious misconduct findings from moving between school districts without appropriate accountability.
